This is a variation of Whiskey Sour- See prep below
Juice of 1 lemon
Confectioners’ sugar ½ tsp
Amaretto 2 oz
Orange slice garnish
Maraschino cherry garnish
Preparation:
Pour the lemon juice, amaretto, and sugar into an ice-filled mixing glass. Shake and strain into an ice-filled sour glass. Add garnishes and serve.
Variation: To make an Whiskey Sour substitute Whiskey for Amaretto. To make Rum substitute Rum for Whiskey. To make Vodka, Tequila, or Gin Sours, substitute for their spirits.
