Gin Sour

Serves 1

Juice of 1 lemon
Confectioners’ sugar ½ tsp
Gin 2 oz
Orange slice garnish
Maraschino cherry garnish

Preparation:
Pour the lemon juice, whiskey, and sugar into an ice-filled mixing glass. Shake and strain into an ice-filled sour glass. Add garnishes and serve.
Variation: To make Whisky Sour substitute Whisky for Gin. To make an Amaretto Sour substitute Amaretto for Whiskey. To make Rum substitute Rum for Whisky. To make Vodka, or Tequila, substitute for their spirits.
