Scotch 1 ½ oz
Sweet red Vermouth ½ oz
Cherry Garnish
Preparation:
Pour the scotch and vermouth into an ice filled shaker. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry and serve.
Variations: to make a Dry Rob Roy substitute dry vermouth for sweet red vermouth. To make a Perfect Rob Roy use ¼ oz dry Vermouth, ¼ oz sweet Vermouth and 1 oz scotch.
